A classical guitar can be only as good as its design and the skill of the artisan executing the design and allowing the wood to resonate to its full potential.
My present soundboard design is derived from age old traditions as exhibited in the designs of Antonio de Torres and other early Spanish guitar builders and includes certain concepts of Jose Romanillos and Santos Hernandez. My choice of bracing is made in attempt to balance the instrument’s bass and treble response, to nullify wolf-notes, and to allow the instrument to vibrate and resonate fully.
