The original bridge on this nice Recording King was cracked and due to its degree of saddle protrusion and narrowness front-to-back, it was determined that for longevity of the guitar a new hand crafted bridge was the best solution. The new bridge was made about 1.5mm wider front-to-back.

Truss rod recessed hex nut was stripped. Poor access to begin with. After adapting the hex nut so I could use a wide flat head screwdriver.with lots of torque, it became clear that the truss rod is frozen stuck.
